At Puretastes we are always pushing the boundaries of creativity and we are looking for new staff that can do the same, who want to join us in our progress to offering a wonderful dining experience with flavour driven food and in the dining room with warm attention to the guests expectations.

Each summer season December – April, we employ additional hospitality staff on a contractual basis which may suit those who are traveling on a working holiday in New Zealand.  Please indicate to us in your application if this position is preferable.

Current Employment Opportunities

Restaurant Assistant Manager: 
Minimum 2 years experience. 
Able to work weekends and split shifts 
40-50 hrs per week.
Bar Managers Licence

Commis Chef: We require a number of motivated individuals who are passionate about the industry and with a desire to learn and develop to the next level in their career.

Breakfast Chef: Experience at a Chef de Par tie level, fine dinning experience not essential.

Chef de Partie: Minimum 3 years experience with at least one year at this level in a fine dinning establishment.

Demi Chef de Partie: Minimum 1 year experience.

Sous Chef: Minimum 4 years experience with at least 2 years fine dinning experience.

  • Proven leadership and organisational skills
  • Able to motivate and develop others

Maitre' d: Minimum 2 years experience at this level in a fine dinning establishment.

  • Proven leadership and organisational skills
  • Customer focused
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to motivate and develop others.

We are also looking for wait staff to join our customer focused team in delivering an exceptional dinning experience.
